quick update on treatment #4

I’m two days into this treatment and wanted to give a quick update. Yesterday I was about 80% normal, and today about 70%. The nurse warned me that it’s pretty common for these treatments to have their worst impact about the third and fourth day after, so I’m praying that I can stay ahead of the curve the next couple days.

Nausea is under control via meds, but I’m weak and sort of nasty feeling on and off. We have a very important College and Career retreat starting tomorrow night. I’m schedule to speak twice and conduct the retreat, so pray that I will have the strength to do so.

Over all, my body is weak but my heart and attitude are good. Trusting the Lord through all of this! Thanks for your prayers and encouragement.

I will pray that the Lord would give you strength to continue in your work for the Lord… you are on my prayer list every day.

My wife and I will be praying for you, your family, and the retreat this weekend. I am thankful His strength is made perfect in weakness. Thank you for being a great example of God’s grace working in your life.
