We enjoyed getting out of the house together. Still had a real lack of energy most of the day.<br \/>\nOne really odd part of chemo is appetite. I haven’t had much of an appetite until today at lunch time, which was really my first “meal” since treatment. And what the stomach can take at any given moment is really random. Chocolate drinks or smoothies still have a very settling affect on my nausea for some reason. Feelings of weakness and sickness still come and go unpredictably.<br \/>\n<!--more-->After resting a bit this afternoon, we went and watched the LBS Eagles win tonight. One of the hardest parts of this is having to “avoid people”\u2014sitting off by myself like some quarantined leper is no fun. I enjoy being around people\u2014especially the young people of LBS! But I’m thankful for the opportunity and strength to watch Larry play ball.<br \/>\nSo, thank you, Lord, for a better day than yesterday! Tomorrow I’m hoping to work, and actually be able to sing in Rachel Houk’s wedding. Right now, I’m feeling wiped out and ready to crash. Thanks for your prayers and for stopping by to read these mundane and rather pointless updates.<br \/>\nBy the way, I survived my “self-inection” of neupogen.
